The Young Insurance Professionals of Louisiana (YIPS) is an association committed to
providing benefits and services that assist young professionals with career development.
YIPS is dedicated to:

Membership Eligibility/Classifications
Active Members: Individuals who are engaged in the insurance business as
insurance agents, producers or staff of insurance agencies who have not yet reached
the age of forty-five (45) and are employed by a current PIA Member Agency are
eligible for Active Membership.
Associate Members: Company representatives or other individuals who provide
products or services to the insurance industry, have not yet reached the age of
forty-five (45), and are employed by a current PIA Associate Member are eligible
for Associate Membership.
College Students: Individuals attending college full time who are interested
in the insurance industry are eligible for College Student Membership.
Alumni Members: Individuals who are engaged in the insurance business as
insurance agents, products, agency staff, company representatives or other individuals
who provide products or services to the insurance industry and who have reached the
age of forty-five (45) and are employed by a current PIA Member Agency or PIA Member
Company are eligible for Alumni Membership.
